Hi, I’m Kate Maree, and I create meaningful, heirloom-quality fine jewelry in solid gold, featuring incredible colored gemstones—each one as unique as its wearer.

Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by the magic of gemstones—the way they sparkle, their distinct inclusions, and how they come alive in the sunlight. Some of my fondest memories are of admiring my mum’s jewellery, trying it on, and endlessly rearranging her jewellery trays.

Though I always wondered about becoming a jeweller, I never imagined it could be a career. Instead, I pursued medicine, earning my degree and working as a house surgeon, a registrar, and eventually toward my fellowship as a GP. But through it all, my love for jewellery never faded.

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Nick, and we have two beautiful children—Maddie (5) and Arthur (2). It was after remodeling some inherited jewelry to better reflect my style that I realised how deeply I connected with the craft. What started as a creative outlet quickly became an all-consuming passion, and I knew I had found my true calling.

Now, I pour that passion into every piece I create—designing timeless, handcrafted jewellery meant to be treasured for generations.
